LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 is the direct sequel to 2013's LEGO Marvel Superheroes and 2016's LEGO Marvel's Avengers featuring an original story based around the iconic Marvel supervillain, Kang the Conqueror.
In comparison to earlier games, LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 features the biggest hub world ever implemented in a LEGO game, Chronopolis - a self-contained megacity featuring districts made up of iconic Marvel locations from across time and space populated by a variety of puzzles, minigames, and missions given to the player by a variety of superheroes and villains.
The game was released in November 2017, debuting on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and Switch.
My workload on the project was divided roughly as below, though in the interests of clarity my implementation efforts as with all LEGO projects did not involve the creation of assets and in some cases the implementation was a joint-effort with another designer.
I designed, wrote, and implemented content the bulk of the content for the Attilan, HYDRA Empire, Knowhere, Lemuria, New York Noir, Nueva York (2099), and Ragnarök Asgard sections of the Chronopolis hub.
Additionally I wrote around a third of the sixty quests featured
within the game, implementing and advising on the implementation of a
small number of them. I also contributed to the writing of incidental
dialogue for the areas mentioned above alongside the Sakaar, K'un-Lun,
and Medieval England areas.
